As founder of Jibwa I have worked with technology for nearly two
decades in a personal drive towards excellence in computing. Computers
and technology, thier potential, limitations, and applications are
subjects I have been driven to understand. As a professional and as a
student I have experienced industry and academia to learn the most
common and successful practices in technology solutions. Trends in
computing have changed dramatically as DOS became Windows as Linux and
the Open Source movements emerged to empower the business and personal
computing worlds. After working alongside visionary professionals,
studying under renowned professors, and managing some of the brightest
developers and support specialists, I have come to realize that every
technology has its application.
Every business and individual
has a different concept and understanding of these technologies. Often
businesses will invest time developing custom solutions when there is a
complete solution already available to purchase or simply
modifications. Other times infastructure and hardware issues can plague
productivity when some standard maintenence and planning would have
prevented it. Purchasing, asset management, and overall value in
technology is more often then not confusing and complicated when left
to the whims of sales and large technology manufactuers. As computing
forges a substantial role I hope to help decision makers to understand
how to manage, protect, and utilize their potential with computing.

The staff and consultants at Jibwa LLC have been tinkering, working with, building, and developing software on compters since long before there was the internet, and long before the computer was a staple in our homes, offices, and now in our cars, phones, classrooms, and boardrooms. What we used to find in encyclopedias is now available in Wikis and Blogs, and a calender and a mailbox is in some ways replaced by a portable handheld like a Palm Pilot or an IPhone. Computers, their software, and capabilities have infiltrated our lives at an astounding pace.
Business and home life is changing. Not just from technology, and not just from economies, but from people and their needs and expectations.
